2025 officially hottest year ever.

Another thread where Climate change deniers line up to say "no it isn't."
What a bore.

Think...
The same eco terrorists going on and on about climate change and taxing us to the bones (as well as restricting our freedom) are the ones using private jets on a daily basis and doing exactly the opposite of what they preach.

Who are they?

Any examples of who theses people are yet?

I went abroad in 76 for a year so didn't directly experience it but everyone my age who experienced it maintains 76 was the hottest year ever.

Also seems odd calling 2025 as the hottest year ever 4 months before it's over. If they said 'driest year' that would make more sense.

Normally, the jet stream is to the South of the UK. And this drags down cooler weather from the Arctic. However, when the jet stream is to the North of the UK, the opposite happens, and we drag up hot weather from Africa.

The theory is that the jet stream is getting weaker and less predictable, which causes it to move around more.

This is one of the possible positive feedback loops that are predicted by meteorologists.

The theory is that the power of the jet stream is driven by the cold temperatures in the Arctic. The Arctic is warming faster than anywhere else on earth. This causes the jet stream to lose power. Which in turn drags warm air into the Arctic. Causing a type of vicious circle.

As a result, we regularly see maximum temperatures in England and Wales that we wouldn't have dreamed of thirty years ago. Back then it was unusual to see twenty eight degrees. But now thirty three is quite common.

This doesn't mean the average global temperature has gone up by five degrees in the past thirty years. At most, it has gone up by one degree.

This is being called the hottest "summer". Not the hottest "year".

They are calling it the hottest summer on record, with the highest average temperature over that period.

Its because people are running around like headless chickens on a lie - it wasn’t the hottest year at all -- it was the hottest SUMMER - not year. It also includes the average mean temperature overnight - if you strip that out then -- there is noting to see here. This is why people are sceptic about stuff as they try to fool people - basically they used floored data for that hottest 1 day since the earth was formed and they have nowhere to go with it so instead push out misleading figures like hottest year to keep the world boiling narrative going.
