2nd alarm keypad

i have a full house alarm, and am getting an extention built onto the back of the house, we intend to use the new patio door as access so need to set the alarm from there as well as the existing front door, is it reasonably easy to retro fit a 2nd kepyad at the back door so that we can use either keypad to set/disarm the alarm, and does it require 240v or only alarm cable,

Depends what alarm system you already have?

You will need alarm cable or some data cable depending on the system.
Also a new door contact and the system reprogramming to accept the new entry point.

What have you got?
This way we can see if it has the capacity you require.

how many zone lights on the keypad ?

As your rebuilding, get a better system.

Or would you use old plasterboard to do your internals?
