Hi Guys,

Could anyone recommend anywhere I can purchase 3CT.

I would like the 2 outer compartments to be above/below the socket, not directly behind - if you know what I mean.

Thanks

Plastic or steel?

How much?

Prefabbed bends?

I would get a quote from a few wholesalers for this stuff - It is not cheap.

Work out what you need - including the boxes, cable etc etc (not just the trunk) and the quote may work down in price.

Rant /

2 or 3 compartment skirting or dado trunking used to be one of my pet hates.... One compartment about 1 1/2" X 3" with three 2.5mm singles for a ring main, and one (or two) compartments about 1" X 1" jammed full of telephony and/or cat5 cables.

You could never pull another comms cable in because it was too full, and you couldn't take the lid off safely with the power on.

Hi

My Bad - completly forgot I posted this topic! Doh!

I will probably want about 9m (3x 3m lengths I assume), in plastic with 2 right angle bends and about 8 double gangs for power and networking - so not much.

TicklyT: I know what you mean! But I won't be having that many cables going through it so should be OK :)

Thanks for the links ! Bloody expensive though!! Might have to think of another way of doing it with normal trucking :-/

You shouldnt mix telephone & power. Is aaginst the regs and youll get an annoying hum on yr telephone too.

If you cost your time you'll find its not that expensive. U can do it with other trunking but it wont look so good.
