Bricks are easy to cut, any cheap blade will do.
If you're cutting concrete I reccomend a Hitachi (now called Hikoki?).
I had mine for a few years and goes through anything like butter.

I've had and Erbauer blade in my 9" grinder for donkeys, have to say it's been superb, been looking, and they do 350mm version, so might consider this. Prices really vary at this size... £25-100+
