My friend is about to replace his light switches in his newly bought house. He wants to know if he needs 6A (http://www.screwfix.com/app/sfd/cat/pro.jsp?id=17143) or 10A switches.
Can anyone help by telling me how he would find out? Presumably it's all to do with the load, which, without seeing, I imagine to be quite small - average house lighting requirements.
I imagine he's going to look inside the existing ones too, is there likely to be anything written on the inside which might tell him what rating they are?
Thank you.
