Hello,

I have got 6mm laminate for a concrete floor and was considering putting a 5 or 6mm underlay. Will that be a problem? Thx

What underlay, exactly?
I haven't decided yet but was looking to something like gold foil 5mm. Not sure if it will be too soft for the laminate. Any recommendations please. Ideally I would like an underlay 7 or 8mm thick so the flooring would be level with the adjacent rooms which have got tiles.

if you need to raise the 6mm laminate by 7/8mm to 13mm/14mm
why not use a 7mm laminate underlay

i have put underlay with a vapour barrier under laminate onto a concrete floor
