6mm laminate question

Hello,

I have got 6mm laminate for a concrete floor and was considering putting a 5 or 6mm underlay. Will that be a problem? Thx

I haven't decided yet but was looking to something like gold foil 5mm. Not sure if it will be too soft for the laminate. Any recommendations please. Ideally I would like an underlay 7 or 8mm thick so the flooring would be level with the adjacent rooms which have got tiles.

Maybe a bit late but why not fit a thicker laminate to get to the height you want?

I have this laminate already for a few years actually, so I will have to use it.

why not use a 7mm laminate underlay
