So took down an old Xpelair fan today expecting it to be a 150mm/6" duct. Turns out the duct is 7.5"/190mm.
The fan was also in Zone 1, so we're needing a Zone 1 fan, either ELV or IP rated, to cover this hole. There's no width to drill it out to a 9" and the guy doesn't particularly want to get it bricked up and re-drilled.
Could knock up a patress out of wood to fit a 6" fan and have it be tiled over afterwards but would prefer a tidier solution if anyone knows of anything?
Edit - Google is your friend, seems they still make the fan with the same part number, 45 years later! Someone's fitted a fan designed for kitchens/utility rooms in the bathroom
