I have made a doorway from my existing outside wall to my new bedroom and it goes through a solid 9 inch wall (including my dot and dabbed plasterboard its just over 10 inch)
I'd like to have a standard internal door here. All the doors in the house have architrave around so id like this to match.

Is it possible to buy ready made door liners that are over 9 inches deep like you can for standard interior doors or will I have to make up my own? I'm assuming that I line this door in the same way that I would for a standard interior door? Or am I incorrect with this assumption. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Well you've beaten me, by 2 inches!
I was just measuring up for a 7" wide liner, and I will make it up myself, due to not being able to buy an off the shelf one.
I think you'll need to make on yourself, or get a local timber place to do it for you.

Not sure it it will be easy to get 9"+ wide timber, but you could biscuit joint two 5" strips together.

As for architrave, you could have something made to match, or perhaps DIY if you are handy with a router.

Just return the plaster around the opening on the room side and use a normal lining
That would be be cheapest, most sensible and in my opinion the nicest looking option in a modern house.
