Hi all,

Bit of a random question really. I have a small retaining wall built with sleepers and have a couple left over and an area perfect for a bbq. I was originally going to build a simple bbq frame with brick but thought it may be a bit different and more in keeping building the frame with sleepers (new tanalised pine).

Obviously heat and wood aren't the most ideal mix but I was thinking of putting some heat shield material where the heat will be apparent, I thought of even lining this area with brick or suitable stone.

At the moment it is a bit of a hair brained idea so I am unsure whether it is possible to build safely but if anyone has any ideas in how it could be accomplished it would be much appreciated.
