Got called to a Cannabis farm today to check for safety. A large detached house with 3 rooms and the attic in use. Load was 42 x 600W lamps & 3 fans.
As you can guess the cut-out and the illegal tails that went to the CU (upstairs) were rather warm. (note the lack of earth)

nah it was safe enough, it was behind a dressing table which had been moved to get at it

The lights were still on until I removed the illegal connection, which I couldn't do until the police had take suitable photos for evidence

Not me but I suspect someone would have attended, Police & Fire usually call us if there is any doubt or evidence of theft
