Possibly - but why should that extend to the trust buying lgbtq and whatever- flags, enamel, badges, lanyards. My local trust even put up flag poles where there were previously none - just so they could fly an lgbtq flag --- its gone over the top and too far now.

Having read the leaflet, I suppose the problem they are trying to address is quoted below. I believe there is still a lot of hatred towards these groups, especially trans people, at the moment. So I suppose the idea is to make accessing care less fearful for those people.

Also, basic things like wheelchair access, information in various languages, translators. And monitoring which diseases affect particular racial groups more than others.
