The NHS is available to all under its own constitution. If people don't want to access its services for fear of something, that is upto them.

The issue isn’t inclusion. It’s positive discrimination. It’s widespread in public sector and it should be stopped for the racism and sexism that it is.

Disability yes. Most people have access to a smartphone where language can be translated. I am not against translators but the onus should be on the individual to understand the language of the country they are in. In the case of death, yes a translator should be required if the relative does not understand the native tongue. Research is mostly university based as far as I understand.

How much I wonder did it cost for my local trust to put up brand new flag poles just so they could fly an lgbtq flag. No doubt paying architects, ground surveys - god knows what else. And its not just one either - oh and they have also painted the crossings within the grounds in the flag colours. I would rather that money spent on paying the staff better.

Because (a) the place runs Okayish with two of the four managers present, (b) it runs even better when there is just one particular manager present and (c) They are currently all having to apply for their own jobs so some of them will definitely be for the chop because they are just not needed. It’s very rare that at any one time, one of them isn't on holiday in Ghana or Nigeria and blow me, everytime they go, just before they are due to come home, they get sick, catch covid, have a relative die or 'lose' their passport. One of them had a full card once - was out there for nearly 4 months on full pay.
Was he happy? Do you have proof of that?
