Accenta 6 troubles

Hi everyone,
my Accenta 6 alarm panel has begun to act up once again. The problem I have is that when I start up the panel and enter in the code it denies resetting to day and it carries on in alarm mode. Factory defaulting the NVM didn't work as the same problem cropped up again, this time the factory code not working when I entered it in. So, what is the problem?

well, it's not the first time that this has happened to the alarm, but now it has decided to work. Going to play safe and buy a replacement Scantronic 9800+ in case it conks out properly. When its dead, it will have a date with my axe and then it will be binned!
