Accenta alarm no power light

After a power cut my daughters alarm doesn't work. I have changed the battery and checked the fuses which appear to be ok.
There is now a light on the keypad where it says "day" but still no power light.
Any ideas please.

Does it stay powered up with no battery ? If not check fuses and transformer.... if it does totally down power the panel for 30s and re power

Apparently the alarm started to sound at 2 a.m. and wouldn't stop. It had to be knocked off the wall! Their friend who is an electrician came early doors and did it. He said it was the transformer.
