Accenta Gen 4 user code problem

Just joined this forum so appologies if this question has been asked before.
I've recently installed the system and have changed both user code 1 and user code 2 from their default 0123 to different codes. Both the new codes work !
However, if the alarm goes off for some reason and I type in the old number 0123, the main bell stops, but the internal buzzer continues - as I understand it, 0123 should no longer be recognised as a proper code. I've tried altering the codes and also disabling user code 2, but the problem still exists. Any ideas anyone.
