Accenta8 mini alarm

We got tech guy to fit alarm 8years ago has 5 passives and panic button

tried to set keypad fri it totaly dead no lights in chime nothing
however box has power
alarm never went off
how do i fix it

After 8 years , if it has not had a service , then the first thing to check is the battery.If you feel confident to do this , you could open the end station (larger box) remove the battery connections , remove the mains fuse , wait for about 10 secs , turn mains on , and the alarm should come back to life.Use your code to silence , or 0123 if it has defaulted.ideally you should check the charging circuit , replace the battery and all should be well.
Careful around hazardous voltages.
