As my personal experience proves, you would get NOWHERE NEAR that sum for those injuries. Not in the UK, anyway. Also, as my personal experience proves, it can be successfully argued in court that there are circumstances where a driver can drive into the rear of the vehicle in front and for it to be the fault of that car's driver.

Eg , just the scenario that Mr UB40 describes. When cutting in front of someone, their braking distance is reduced. Couple that with idiotic braking on your part, and it can be argued that the accident is not your fault.

So wake up Mr Labour Exchange. We're not idiots.

I never shut up secureprat and i only speek the truth well where has the £60 billion gone to, the care in the nhs is a joke, when i was in i saw old people beggin for water only to be ignored by these so called nurses , the whole system is ran by contractors creaming the cash in off the tax payers, you have companys like initial hiring cheap labour who dont have a clue about hygiene. and so on....................

I think thats a lot of money for BOB's injuries, I had a claim some years back, and I had to fight tooth and nail to get a decent sum.
It was the others persons fault, I had loads of witnesses, and some really bad injuries.

I kept turning down thier offers, but I accepted the last one, as was fighting for years, but in the end thought I had a decent sum.

Wish I held out for more though, as years down the line I am having trouble with my back, it could be to do with the accident, but I will never know.

My advice to anyone claiming is, to think of the long term comebacks, and hold out for you think is a decent sum, as years down the line you could have problems.
