Very dubious of the source given its a mock up image of a bit of text and a police car.

That's not to say you should always have your wits about you in any event.

Sorry gents, I have found out that it is hoax.

I thought it better to at least make folks aware than doing naff all and risking some poor sod getting a face full of something awful.

Rather I have a red face than others suffer.

Having said that, there are random attacks on people by strangers. Their weapon of choice may be acid.
