Acoustic Slatted Panels - fixing

I've got some of these to put up and wanted to check on your preferred method. I've seen some that have just used glue whereas others have used drywall screws in the black sections of these panels.

I am fixing on to a plastered wall.

Depends on panel as there are different sorts.
Also depends if you want to remove them easily

It’s one of these type of panel walls that I’m building. No plans to remove once it’s up.

How flat is the wall? If the wall is uneven you'll notice it so may need use some spacers or whatever to even things up, in which case mechanical fixing might be more suitable.
