1967.Homosexuality legalised in England.Every law abiding citizen in England thought it illegal before then..
1968.....Tear down all the statues because they were homophobic,by default,if they were law abiding.No debate..just have a mob destroy them all.

Guess the statue of Henry Ford in Essex should be pulled down as well, not that it's on public land.

Indeed, but conversely brought affordable transport to the masses, paid a good wage to workers including the disabled and people of colour. Ah the duality of people.

Quite right conny. But I do believe no-one is trying to or wants to change history.
We can learn form history, but the only way we'll do that is if the history is re-written from a fair and impartial viewpoint, warts and all.
 
Going back to the Henry Ford quote -
