Add Switch To Turn On & Off Door Buzzer (connected to lighting circuit)

Hi,

I have a door buzzer and would like to add a switch to be able to enable and disable the buzzer at certain times during the day, like when my kids are going to bed etc.

Q1) Is it possible I can add a switch in between?

Q2) Is it possible to have switch which can be controlled by a remote control, rather than a pull cord / switch. (wiring is in hallway ceiling, I have access via loft hatch
