Add Washing machine waste trap under Kitchen sink

Hi,
Normally I have come across 32mm/40mm pvc pipe for the kitchen waste. But the tail pipe in the photo seems to be 49mm when measured with calipers.
I would like to connect washing machine waste pipe under the sink waste kit, how can I do it?

You wont connect a Washing machine to that, looks like IKEA stuff, and is a nightmare. Best option is usually to bin the existing, and replace with rigid waste pipework, you can fit a suitable trap to accept the washing machine waste at the same time.
