adding a light

my hallway is L shaped and has a ceiling light at the bend
one end of the L is darkish and needs another ceiling light
there are two switches at present and are two way
what would be the correct method to add another ceiling light or lights
and retain the original switching
its a bungalow so the wires are pretty accessible in the loft

Hi, easy use 1.00mm twin and earth cable from the existing light fitting just pair up your LNE with the LNE from the supply cable to the light.

thanks...seems so simple...and my two hall switches will operate accordingly..
switch off at one and on at another and on again at the first...wowoo i cant explain that but i have wired them in the past...

Yes if you terminate the L of new light and N of new light using 1.00mm twin and earth and at the existing light terminate at L and N as you have at new light, it will work as a two way function on both lights. You are not terminating either end in to a live loop, just switch live and neutral. also do not forget to terminate the earths at the earth terminals.
