I am in the process of adding two new radiators. my central heating is in micro bore (10mm) (pumped off a header tank)

I have found the 'source' the 22mm pipes where all the micro bores T into.

just a few questions to put out;

When I T into the 22 pipes can i use 15mm pipe instead of the 10mm used to feed the other radiators?

Can i then T off this 15mm pipe to feed another rad or do i need to go back to the source?

Any comments and advice welcome

cheers

That should be fine as long as the two rads together dont exceed 4 kW and the distance 8m.

You will need to balance the two new rads to match the system.

thanks very much for your response!

but just another quicky!

Is it ok to increase the micro bore from 10mm to 15mm on one the rads i have capped off? as i want to relocate it... (it will be only the last couple of feet leading to the rad)
