My son has just made an offer on his first flat. DIY Dad will be doing some of the work required on it.
In the En-Suite bathroom, there is an existing shower tray (looks like 700mm square) up aginst two tiled walls that are probably stud walls. Son wants to replace the curtain with an enclosure.
Do I have to be overly concerned about the weight bearing capability of those walls if there isn't a stud behind the point where I'm fixing the vertical rails or will the tray take most of the weight of the glass?
Thanks
