Hi all,
First post and first attempted spur.
I've bought all the things I need having done my research (I think!) but when i came to wiring the cable to the socket I noticed that while the existing electrical cabling is solid core (copper) i've bought "flex" - specifically this - https://www.screwfix.com/p/time-3183tq-white-3-core-2-5mm-flexible-cable-5m-coil/207jy
Does it matter the cable isn't one copper strand? I've attached a photo to show the difference - the new cable is on the left.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
