Adding Fernox TF3 cleanner and TF1 Inhibitor

I was wondering if some can kindly advise.

I need to get my TRVs changed as the pins are not coming up once its pushed down.

Whilst getting the plumber to change the valves, I am considering to clean the system as well (I have not seen any dark water or anything but as the radiators are about 10 yrs old, I am thinking prevention is better than cure.

I was thinking to get the Fernox TF3 cleaner & Fernox TF1 Inhibitor added to the system

The plan is

1. Drain the CH System & add Fernox TF3 cleaner to the system re-fill and let it run for an hour or so and re-drain the CH system.

(Wondering if I have to get the CH system power flushed?)

2. Add the Fernox TF1 protector for peace of mind and refill the system.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

certainly wont harm but run it for a week then flush thoroughly,add f1 after valves have been fitted
