Hi all,

joist joined for some ongoing advise as I renovate my 1930’s house.
I have removed a woodworm ravaged floor from a small downstairs toilet. 2 of the joists we no longer supported at one side as the brick base had shifted at some point. can I just do away with this and fit a wall plate bolted to the brick and joist hangers for the new joists? I ask as most of the original brickwork was just placed bricks on soil founds.
Above the short 800mm long (room width) new joists would be a toilet by itself.
On a side note, what, potentially would be the best hanger to use in this scenario?
Thanks all.
