I am after some advice on what's the best adhesive to use to temporarily re-stick down loose parquet flooring to the original bitumen adhesive. it only needs to last a few weeks as i'll hopefully be moving out soon & starting a full refurb which will include new flooring, so it just needs to hold the loose fingers down long enough to get there (and keep SWMBO happy). Whilst a lot of the floor is loose, I'm not planning to go mad and stick it all down again - just the m^2 or so that gets regularly pulled up & tripped over.

So far, I have tried what i had to hand (solvent free gripfill) and that started to fail after a couple of days.

What might be a good product to try next ?

Lol. like you're thinking. Whilst i would probably go that route (or just live with the loose parquet) it's not going to meet my partner's approval.

Does seem that covering it with a rug is back on the agenda though, so that might be the simplest solution
