Just wondering about the protocols for advertising an electrical job on the relevant forum. I'm having trouble finding someone in my area and I'm sure that there must be a way of offering it here without disclosing any personal information publicly, of course.

I may be wrong, but I believe the official protocol on this site, is to use the local tab; selecting the trade you require, and entering your location.
The service will then list the registered trade users who are in your area.
However, when experimenting with the service, I haven't been served with any results, even though my location is set to a large local city!
As for advertising a job within the relevant forum... maybe a Mod could clarify?
