Advice appreciated on boxing in a Baxi 50 OF boiler

Thanks for your replies folks, it's appreciated.

One last query about adequate outside ventilation, I have 2 vents just now, although one is low down behind washing machine, and the other is a redundant tumble dryer vent hole, about 1m from the floor, which I have fitted a non closing vent to.

I expect I need more, how many more vents would I need to the outside, where should they be, ie what height and should they be 'open', ie not hidden behind appliances?

Thanks again :D

You need a 57cm2 vent, ducted through a cavity wall with no closable, flyscreen free vents either side with openings no less than 5mm and no greater than 10mm. Provided that that vents the room containing the compartment to outside that is ok.

Then you need to provide high and low compartment vents of hi - 176cm2 and lo - 353cm2.

Clearances around the boiler are 100mm above and 6mm to the sides, but the bigger the better.

You may want to reference your cupboard ideas to British standard BS5440 part 2, just to make sure.

Cheers ollski, will post back on completion and let you guys know how it went!

Thanks to all! :D
