It has really played into the hands of bg and now eon massively, there are so many newly qualified heating guys coming out now without the skills and experience that customers are being driven towards big comapnies for a perceived reliable service. These two have virtually wrapped contract customers up and are bound to wage war on each other soon to win the one off breakdown market by pricing everyone else out of it.

In my local rag there's only ever one plumber advertising!

I have to agree there does seem to be a lot of plumbing vans about, but I'm not sure whether that's do to with me noticing more nowadays.
