Advice on new boiler to work with solar system

Hi.

We live in a property with a 10 year old Alpha combo boiler and an Alpha solar smart system. We bought the property new and this is what was installed when built. We want to replace the boiler as it’s starting to go wrong but want it to work with the existing solar panels as it really cuts cost but have been told not to get another alpha boiler as they aren’t very good.

Can anyone shed any light on what type of boiler we would need to be compatible with the solar system and would we need a specialist installer? TIA

Your Alpha will have a solar smart valve fitted but this can be retrofitted with other boilers, personally I would go with another Alpha but your choice

Yes, we have to work with our solar system, it's the only one we have
