I'm looking to replace my boiler with something less rubbish. We currently have a Halstead Finest where the name is clearly wrong as it's rubbish. It's just a small two bedroom end terrace so I don't need anything massive but good HW performance is a must. The thing must fill a bath in a sensible amount of time. I was looking at some of the hefty Vaillant models but I don't really want to get into replacing the gas pipes or such.

Any thoughts appreciated.

For good HW performance I would suggest the Vaillant 831 or the Broag Avanta 28C or 35C.

For v good HW performance look at the 837 or the Avanta 39C.

I only ever suggest the last 2 if customers only use baths all the time.

If you have showers with occasional baths then the first 3 will be ample.
