Advice - would i need planning.....

Afternoon All,

I'm very new to this and only looking in to the possibility of converting a garage in to bed/ensuite. Now I've search on the planning portal and not too sure if i do need to do the planning so any help apprecited.

Ive got a detached garage to my bungalow but the distance from the property to the garage is only meter wide.

Any advice appreciated, just saves moving as can spend moving costs converting this.

Do you plan on infilling the space between the garage and bungalow?
