Hello everyone,
This is my first post and what a headache it is, listed below are the problems and if anyone can help i will be much appreciated.

1 MY UPSTAIRS HOT WATER TAPS HAVE TO BE RUN SLOW TO GET HOT WATER AND IT TAKES AWHILE, BUT WHEN THE CENTRAL HEATING HAS BEEN OFF FOR SOME TIME ITS ALOT WORSE.

2 WHEN THE HOT WATER IS RUNNING THE RADIATORS HEAT UP.

number 1 happened first then six months later 2 fault appeared, about 18 months ago i changed the dhw diaphram. And also changed both temperature sensors.

Please can you guys help ive talked to two different heating engineers and one said clean out the heat exchanger but i dont know which one they mean.

Please can you help cheers Jackboy

Your divertor valve is stuck mid way needs stripping out freed cleaned etc

You say you changed the domestic hot water diaphram

There are two diaphrams i think in this diverter valve assembly.

One in the domestic hot water flow valve at the front and the other in the primary flow valve at the rear. the pushrods may also be sticking and need cleaning.

Yes thanks lads i will try this tomorrow. These Alpha boilers are one big headache its seven years old but it has not worked trouble free from when the house was built.
I will strip it down tomorrow and have a look, is there anything else it could be.

Diverter to start with, either get a refurb. kit or buy the Baxi equilvalent diverter (it's a lot cheaper).

Swap the DV as said. Personally I never refurbish, always replace with new.
