hi. need advice on what type of diverter valve the alpha cd24 combi have. no spindle yet it looks like diaphram diverter ? or is the spindle internall and can only be tested via the flow switch mounted on top?

lever the switch off the top of the diverter to test it. if it works ok then the diaphragm is probably burst. not a great job for your first diaphragm.

does not the cd24 have the crappy spring on saddle type micro switch, half way down diverter? that fail intermitently?

he means prize it up so theplastic saddles spring off the brass part you have a flowswitch in your hand. .
