Hi Guys,
I can see from your comments that you have much experience with Alpha Condensing boilers?
I, like many others have experienced problems with the condensate pipework freezing.
Although that's now understood and rectified I find that the metal condensation pipe down to the actual trap is a loose 'sloppy' fit into the metal top of the trap. So although the water drips into the trap, water gathers around the top of the trap and drips down the side. (the trap is NOT overflowing).
So I suppose my question is...
Should the actual trap be a tight fit on the metal down pipe?
Many thanks in advance Guys.
Chris
