Hi Guys,
Hoping for a little help if possible. A customer whom i fitted a gas fire for has called tonight stating that she has no hot water but has central heating (Fire was fitted months ago and boiler has only been in a year). I asked the obvious question that does she have hot water whilst her central heating is on and she stated that she finds that she does.
Initially i assumed that it must therefor be the diaphram (Please note i have never worked on this boiler before and diagnosis was over the phone) and would show up Saturday to fix the problem.
I have just been on Alpha's site however and cannot see a traditional brass divertor valve as such to change a diaphram.
A little help would go a long way and please note that being from Hull i mainly deal with Ideals or the good old B&Q Ravenheats (Also please note my sign in name).
Lastly, pressuming the Plumber who fitted it was Corgi and registered the product properly what sort of warranty do Alpha offer?
Thanks in advance
Charles
