I need an alternative to a SquareD MCB as they don't make a type B 16A
3 phase breaker.
Changing enclosure, is too labour intensive!

Cheers

Which range of square D is the board?

Why is type B crucial?

Not 100% about which board, just had quick look. Like this one, 12 ways (4 3Phase MCB's)

Type B for faster breaking profile.

That's the KQ range.

No one elses MCBs will fit SquareD as they have special prongs to plug onto the busbar.

Is your Zs too high to allow a type C?

One should never guess! But its in a lone cattle barn in the countryside (in Cumbria). I will check tomorrow, might even be TT

Well if it's TT it must be RCD protected, so tripping curve isn't going to be an issue.

You are correct, one should never guess. One should measure and calculate these things as part of the design process before ordering the materials

Especially when ordering your beloved some sexy under garments!
