Hello, seeking some guidance on a house recently purchased.
Is this porch extension missing flashing? Or is the way this is finished all ok?

One of our walls has had a yellow stain apper suddenly, and I'm trying to work out if this area of the roof is in any way the culprit, as its close to the area (and we have had a shocking few weeks of rain!)

Any words of advice appreciated. Thanks

Looks to me like they have attempted to do an all-in-one soaker-flashing chased in.

With flat tiles you can fit one of these...

With a lead cover flashing over the top. Some are actually sold with a lip to chase in, but I prefer independents (for movement).

Yours just looks like a poorly laid piece of lead under the tiles, but I can't see what's going on.

Looks an OK job.

Perhaps the tiles should be a little further off the wall to prevent the secrete gutter from blocking, but not the end of the world.

However, you need to look up between the flashing and the bottom of the render to check if the flashing goes up behind the render or if there is an open joint for water to get between the two.
