Ok maybe American assisted who knows but anyway oh dear Putin has lost his bridge to his stolen island. Thats what you get for building foundations on bad karma.

NATO was created to counter the threat from the Soviet Union.
That threat no longer exists.

But now it exists again, with Putin's revival of the Russian Empire

The previous victims have not forgotten.

You might like to think that you live in a democracy, yet you have a Prime Minister that you didn't vote for, who is implementing policy that nobody voted for.

Where's the democracy in that???

The British government doesn't mention, discuss or do anything that the British people want. They are good at making things up and then convincing you that you want, need or even cannot live without these things, e.g. electric cars; vaccinations; multiculturalism etc.

A singular undemocratic event does not constitute an undemocratic nation. An oppressive, unending dictatorship would, yes. I don't think anyone on the forum classes you as the brightest tool in the box though. (y)

Given the history of Russia and Western Europe, Russia would be mad not to secure their sovereignty by neutralising the threat from pro Western countries on their border.
It seems that Stalin joked that he could advance to Paris. The comment wasn't greeted with laughter.

No, not only for that.
through a strong North American presence on the continent, and encouraging European political integration.
