An awkward Christmas for lefties?

Who knows come the next General Election?

As it stands Ill be voting Reform . And if my 13 & 15 year old girls get a vote , Ill be influencing them as much as I can to vote Reform or whomever I see fit to run the country when the time comes.

Reform couldn't run a bath, let alone a local council.
As for the country, FML..........

Lefties don't understand this mate, they like the way the country is being run at the moment.

This whole labour thing allowing 16 year olds to vote because Labour think they will vote for them is going to backfire. They are currently 13 and have been listening for mohs to their Grandparents talking about how Labour took away their heating etc.

Centrists think that they will see what happens over the next 2 or 3 years.

Understanding that the 1st part of a new government following 1 that had been in for too long, is realising that all the tough stuff gets done at the start and it then eases off

What follows is then a swing of opinion as people see some light or benefit.

Still a few years to go. Way too soon to decide what's right. But going on how the reform councils are being run I don't see their support growing much more.

But in fairness, people have very short memories at election time. Some are inspired by what's happening. Some by the colour rosette. And some by who makes them laugh.

All I see with politics is a set of leeches who are all out for themselves, setting up businesses and using their influence to make their lives better, having second homes and scamming us for cheaper deals and claiming allowances they shouldn't be getting, attending meetings at £300 per day and falling asleep in them, living in a different world and totally out of touch with the people that they represent, it holds nothing to interest me as I think that they are all a set of t'its

So why the support for reform?

Making regulations in sectors that they then go on to work in.

Do you think they do? I really hope not. I'm guessing we're currently at the stage of reversing all that nasty tory stuff, the joyful utopian phase is coming soon, it's just over the horizon (but we'll never actually get there).

Oh yes, just as I posted above before I read your post!

What will actually happen is more of the same rubbish, followed by economic calamity, then handing over the wreckage to someone else. This is how every other Labour government has ended, there's no reason to believe this time will be different.

Did you see what happened at the last election?

And understand why?
