isn't the diameter I can use governed by the diameter of the holes in the post shoe?
Yes, of course.....I suspect the holes in the shoe are bigger than 8mm but it’s a while since I’ve used them.
Obviously it’s the bolt diameter here, not the diameter of the rawlplug itself.
