Trump is now threatening to deport or imprison political rivals.
Add that to:
Trying to overturn a free election
Sanctioning law firms who help people challenge him or his policies
Using the military to silence those who protest against his policies
Ignoring court rulings
It is certainly a very interesting time.
Starmer isn’t going anywhere
In regards to a successor, I’d say Wes Streeting is far more likely than Rayner.
Politics is dog eat dog, most of them would knife their gran to become leader
Starmer's toast. Rayner is his successor of choice within the Labour party.
I don't mind Wes, even better Andy Burnham. But it's neither our choice or the choice of common sense Notch.
