My gas & electric costs....reasonable ?

Are you suggesting a plug in meter for every device or just one that I can plug in and view, then move on to the next appliance, etc?

plug it into an extension cable so you can read it at hand height
you wall wart/brick chargers will be in the region off 3-6w

please go round the house and list the wattage off all bulbs and note if they are 12v

how can I go around the house measuring light bulbs from that device? Wouldn't it make more sense in measuring the draw from each circuit breaker using what I have and trying to isolate what's drawing the power?

sorry i meant read the bulbs individually during the day and write down how many watts are written on the bulbs this can be on the surface off the glass or on the body but beware bulbs can be very very hot if on

So what does it tell you when you turn lights on and off?
When the fridge and or freezer kick in?

I know what every item in my house draws. Even gives me a pence per hour read out when the tariff is inserted.
With that you should know what is drawing what (in watts) excuse the pun.
