I wanted to rake out the mortar ready for a pro to come and repoint.
I thought the quickest way would be to buy an Angle grinder (seen a four and half inch one in screwfix for £15.99) and buy a mortar rake.

The question i had was will the rake just fit onto it or is there a special adapter i will need?

If the rake has a 14mm female thread then it screws right on....careful with these things - they can be vicious!
John :)

Thanks.

I think i will definitely use caution but will be much quicker than a Chisel and hammer :D

Any Tips?

Yeah, I often use Caution for the dangerous jobs too - but he's starting to get wise to it!
