Another Leaking Magnaclean !!!

My Magnaclean Professional (red valves) has started leaking where the canister coupling is threaded into the front face of the valve. What size allen key is needed to tighten it and is it advisable to remove it and wrap some ptfe tape around the thread before tightening?

red valves on these always leak - get hold of the newer magnaclean black valves and fit them instead.
