Another Pension rise

It sounds like Motorbiking or the dork.

Did either of them say that?
No, Ellal. Here you go:

Ellal will be okay then, won’t he? He should thank Rishi for that.
Unless Ellal is on a low income and struggling to keep his head above water, I don't see that he needs any special tax favours. He's not in need.

Cuts for the poor and benefits for the rich?

What next?

Cut school dinners and hand out free doughnuts to the obese?

Unless Ellal is on a low income and struggling to keep his head above water,
Do people on a low income pay more in tax than the average person earns? Did you see the post he made (above)? *Do you deny that if true, Ellal should be quids in thanks to the conservative government?

*Mind you, he did say he was leaving the UK as well as this forum but that was a lie too, so he has form for telling porkies to bolster a post. Not unlike you in that respect…

"In general, the freezing of tax thresholds creates a process known in Treasury jargon as 'fiscal drag'. To explain exactly what this means in practice, here's MoneySavingExpert.com founder Martin Lewis: "Imagine someone who currently earns £12,000 now. Because earnings do tend to increase each year, in a couple of years' time they'll earn £13,000.

"But because the thresholds are frozen, they will now start to pay 20% tax on some of their earnings. And in fact, what freezing the threshold does is that it means no matter what you earn, as your earnings increase, a bigger proportion of your earnings goes on tax. And that's how the Chancellor makes money from it."

Where are your numbers that you think disprove the ones I posted?

Show me.

Seriously mate you need reading lessons and maths too.

Most people not paying tax and NI will benefit from larger benefit increases

And obviously the more you earn the more you would save from the NI cut.

Do you remember when Gordon Brown did away with the 10% tax band? Did you have a go at Labour then?

Irrelevant diversion.

I showed you some numbers.

You don't like them

You think you know better.

So show me yours.

Did I dispute your table - NO

as I previously suggested you need reading lessons

Post # 67 confirms people on benefits will get rises

Which has nothing to do with pensions, tax or NI, or anything I said.

An irrelevant diversion.

Its NOT an irrelevant diversion.

Its part of the bigger picture and people earning over the tax and NI threshold will get the benefits rise and the NI savings too.

I note you ignored my comment about Gordon Brown too

Normal leftie, simply can't see the bigger picture , nor accept Labour have any faults

You disagreed.

Show me anything wrong in what I said

You originally glossed over the fact that everybody paying NI will benefit from the NI cut.

You suggested only the wealthy benefited which is certainly not true and a huge number of people will benefit
