Any opinions about my Main Earth Bonding? (with pic)

I've had to strap a cutout back to the wall with all round band to stop it dropping right off before the DNO got there

I toyed with doing just that, but, I had a feeling that it might just not make it through the process

Your right BS951 shouldn't be used, but, whilst in Manc. the other week the lovely chaps from UU used just that to attach the 16mm earth to the armour!!!!!

I have attended 9 poor Ze jobs recently & the UU guys always fit clamps. Mind you, they claim that they will come back to "do the job properly" later...

I heard of those special spiral springs for bonding that wind themselves round a sheath without needing a clamping screw so cannot be over-tight. Anyone used them?
